Hand-dyed and hand-woven African textiles. Bogolan mud cloth from Mali, dyed with fermented mud and bark over weeks of work, with symbols that carry meaning in Bambara culture. Each cloth is finished by hand on a narrow loom and stitched together, so no two are identical. The slight variations in color and weave are part of how the cloth tells you it is real.
