Each Burundi Large basket is coiled by hand by Burundian artisans working with sisal and sweetgrass. The pattern flows outward from the center in concentric rings, a technique passed down through generations. At eleven and a half inches across and three inches tall, these are the largest of our flat Burundi baskets. Ideal as a fruit centerpiece, catch all on an entryway console, or hung on a wall as art. Each piece is a signature of the weaver who made it.
